  9. In a recent series of unloads provided to Freenet by  Dale
  10. Wedge and Jim Speiser of Paranet, a December 29, 1987
  11. statement by John Lear w as quoted.  Mr Lear is a reputable
  12. and  apparently highly qualified airline pilot with impressive
  13. credentials.  Every so often one finds something in UFOlogy  which
  14. is simply staggering in its implications but valueless without
  15. supporting evidence and therefore, "hard to swallow." Although he
  16. should be admired for his courage in presenting this information
  17. (obtained from various "sources") without hard objective evidence,
  18. Mr. Lear's statement can only be regarded as interesting reading
  19. without evidentiary support.   In short, he sets a nice table but
  20. leaves us waiting for  dinner.   Were it not for his credentials
  21. and Paranet's assurance of  his "numerous contacts in sensitive
  22. positions," the otherwise  outlandish claims he makes could be
  23. dismissed as entertaining  fiction. However, Mr. Lear's character
  24. and reputation require that greater consideration be given to his
  25. statement. In summary, Mr. Lear contends that our government  has
  26. for over 4 0 years been concealing from the public a  "horrible
  27. truth" concerning an "invasion" of Earth by Ebe's (Extraterrestrial
  28. Biological Entities).  He alleges that the U.S government has
  29. conducted "business with little gray extraterrestrials for about
  30. 20 years," i.e. we were "sold" by  MJ-12 to the aliens in exchange
  31. for technology and to preserve our democracy. He contends that our
  32. government agreed to  ignore human/cattle abductions and
  33. mutilations, but that the deeply sinister purposes of these
  34. activities were not completely understood by MJ-12 until about
  35. 1984. Without explaining the EBE's reason(s) to do business  with
  36. the most powerful nation on Earth when they could  covertly
  37. continue their activities in the Third World without concern, or
  38. why these advanced and powerful aliens would even  want or require
  39. our "agreement" to continue their activities,  Mr. Lear maintains
  40. that the purposes of the abductions are:
  41.  
  42.      (1) The insertion of a 3mm spherical device
  43.          through the nasal cavity of the abductee
  44.          into the brain. The device is used for the
  45.          biological monitoring, tracking, and control
  46.          of the abductee.

  48.      (2) Implementation of Posthypnotic Suggestion
  49.          to carry out a specific activity during a
  50.          specific time period, that actuation of
  51.          which will occur within the next 2 to
  52.          5 years.

  56.      (3) Termination of some people so that they
  57.          could function as living sources for
  58.          biological material and substance. (Why
  59.          not cadavers?)

  61.      (4) Termination of individuals who present a
  62.          threat to the continuation of their
  63.          activity.

  66.       (5) Effect genetic engineering experiments.

  68.       (6)Impregnation of human females and early
  69.          termination of pregnancies to secure the
  70.          cross- breed infant.

  72.   He cites the history of UFOlogy in the 40's and 50's, contending
  73. that several crashed saucers and at least 3 live aliens have been
  74. captured and hidden by the government. But would such a powerful
  75. adversary permit humans to hold, study and possibly copy crashed
  76. saucers or permit us to keep  captured aliens, or would they simply
  77. take them back? The Ebbs are said to suffer from an atrophied
  78. digestive system which requires that they sustain themselves  by
  79. absorbing through the skin a solution made from certain
  80. enzyme/hormonal secretions derived from cattle and humans and
  81. collected by ghoulish cattle and human mutilations. The  various
  82. body parts said to be obtained in this manner are then supposed
  83. to be taken for processing to various hidden  laboratories jointly
  84. maintained by the aliens and CIA in the  Southwestern U.S. Although
  85. this description of the alien's  atrophied digestive tract agrees
  86. with alleged autopsies of  dead aliens (reported by Stringfield,
  87. et al).  It is difficult to accept that in at least 2000 years of
  88. genetic engineering  on cattle and humans, the aliens have not
  89. collected enough  material to maintain their own "livestock" and
  90. feed themselves  without CIA cooperation.  Mr. Lear maintains that
  91. a 20 year plan for release of  UFO information to the public
  92. (including the history and intentions of the EBE's) to be completed
  93. by 1987-88, was terminated when the "horrible truth" became
  94. apparent. Indeed,  during the first year of the Carter
  95. Administration, various  media sources, including Walter Cronkite
  96. on the "CBS Evening  News" and " U.S. News and World Report,"
  97. reported that before  the end of that year the administration was
  98. to release UFO information of a "startling" nature.  The
  99. information was  never released.  He contends that "Star Wars" is
  100. in reality a  defensive response to the Ebbs, not Soviet nuclear
  101. missiles,  but does not explain why the Ebbs permit us to continue
  102. with  SDI studies that pose a threat to them.  Among the many
  103. manipulations of human history said to be perpetrated by the
  104. aliens, they maintain that Jesus was  their creation and that his
  105. crucifixion has been recorded in  an alien holographic videotape.
  106. There are also said t o be  other recordings by humans, including
  107. an interview of an alien  which is translated by an Air Force
  108. Colonel and other tapes  said to be held by UFO investigator
  109. William Moore. It is  difficult to understand why such a superior
  110. race, capable of manipulating human civilization for a minimum of
  111. 2000 years, would wait to subjugate the planet for that same
  112. period.  At the time of Christ, our most advanced missile system
  113. was the "sling-shot."  We are now capable of nuclear "suicide."
  114. Insane as that would be, their food supply would go up with us.
  115. Further evidence should be interesting and will be  anxiously
  116. awaited.
